Martin P. Werner (born 1991)
had his first piano lessons at the age of five.
In 1998, he switched to the former Musikschule
(music school) and conservatory of Schaffhausen
and received the advancement award of
the Musikschule at the young age of eight.
In the year 2000, he entered the music school
and conservatory of Winterthur and in 2003,
he began his undergraduate music studies
in the piano class of Tamriko Korzaia,
Prof. Karl-Andreas Kolly as well as Junichi Onaka.
In March of 2008, he debuted in the Tonhalle
Zurich with the Zurich Kammerorchester
(chamber orchestra) under the direction
of conductor Muhai Tang and gave concerts
in April and May 2008 for the International Bodenseefestival at
four venues with
the Collegium Musicum of St. Gallen.
Along with his three music CDs, the young
musician is already very active in his concerts
as a soloist, and chamber musician.
Since Summer 2009, Martin P. Werner attends Professor Homero Francesch's
class at the
Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (University of Arts).
In 2012, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
In 2013, he began his law studies
at the University of Zurich.
